Teaching & Lessons

Raised by educators, Grant has always had a knack and passion for teaching others. Teaching music is no exception. Grant has taught students at all levels and ages, but now is focusing his teaching mostly on High School and Collegiate levels.  

Degrees Held:

• Bachelor of Music, Jazz Studies, Michigan State University - 2020

• Master's of Music, Jazz Studies, Florida State University  - 2022

Grant is a professor at the prestigious Huston-Tillotson University, where he teaches private saxophone lessons, as well as jazz combo, and music appreciation. Grant also holds a private studio at a local high school of eight high school saxophonists.

In addition to saxophone, Grant also teaches doubles (Clarinet and Flute) as well as vocals.
